FAQs

We realize there are many questions when purchasing a new vanity for your bathroom. The following serves as a guide to answer those questions.

How soon will I receive my order?
When an order is placed with BuyVanitiesOnline, standard arrival times for most vanities are between approximately 3-4 weeks. There may be an additional 1 week delay for very remote areas within the United States. We will provide a tracking number when your order leaves our warehouse so you can follow the progress. Due to popularity of some vanities, there may be a slightly longer arrival time, however, we will notify you with a time estimate when you place your order, and will not charge your credit card until your beautiful new vanity ships.

Where is my E-Mail Invoice?
After placing an order with BuyVanitiesOnline, you will receive an invoice to your e-mail box which will require your signature and return. Please note that many e-mail providers (AOL, G-Mail, etc) place these messages in your Junk Mailbox. Should you not see the invoice in your mailbox, please be sure to check your Junk box and update the message as "Not Junk."

Do you charge sales tax?
We do not charge sales tax for orders in the lower 48 states with the exception of California, where standard sales tax rates apply.

What assembly is typically required?
Upon arrival, you will typically receive the vanity cabinet (fully assembled) and the counter top in separate boxes. Sometimes countertops come already mounted to the cabinet. Under-mounted sinks are already secured to the counter top, and we cannot send the countertop and undermount sinks seperately. Due to its frailty, most of our backsplashes are sent in 2-3 pieces.

Simple installation instructions also come with the unit, including instruction on attaching the counter top to the cabinet, simple plumbing (including securing the faucets), and wall mounting instructions, as applicable. If you feel more comfortable, it is always good to hire a professional to make the proper plumbing connection in your home.

Can I interchange counter tops or faucets?
Many of our bathroom vanities are designed and manufactured as a set, with matching cabinets, countertops, and faucets. For those vanities with the faucets included, we have established an easy and flexible program. If you already have the perfect matching faucets at your home, you have the option to send us your faucets, and we will credit you $50.00 for a single faucet and $100.00 for a double faucet. It's as simple as that. At this time we do not cover return shipping costs, and we are not responsible for lost items. We cannot interchange faucets or customize vanity countertops. You always have the ability to customize your new vanity with matching mirror and linen cabinets.

When does my Credit Card get charged?
We do not charge your credit card until the furniture is ready for carrier pick up.

What is your Return Policy?
We are proud to offer an easy and flexible return and exchange policy by offering a 14-day unconditional guarantee. After you receive your order, if the vanity does not match the decor of your home, your taste, your colors, or just plain didn't meet your expectations, we will provide you store credit for any other vanity in our inventory.

Please note when making an exchange, actual round trip freight charges will be deducted from your store credit to return the item to us. Round trip freight charges include outgoing shipping charges on free delivery items. We cannot provide any reimbursement or credit for expedited freight or white glove delivery charges if such a service is selected. In order to properly exchange the vanity, we ask that the vanity be in new, unused, and unassembled condition, securely packaged inside its original packaging, as our freight companies will not pick up items that are not properly packaged. Lastly, there are no restocking fees.

* We will only accept a return if you contact us within 14 days of delivery.

* Items must be returned in their original packaging or additional fees will apply.

* Please note that unless the return or exchange is a result of an error on our part, we cannot credit shipping or handling charges.

* Please note that orders can only be canceled before they ship.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or missing a part?
Our vanities are carefully packaged to withstand damage during shipping. We realize you are excited to receive your new vanity, and we work very hard to make sure it reaches you in perfect condition. However, accidents do happen. We will take every effort to assist you in obtaining the necessary replacements as quickly as possible, and at no extra cost to you.

* Please be sure to carefully inspect your order, and note that all damage claims must be filed with photos to our Customer Service department within 3 days of the receipt of your order.

* If you are holding the vanity and awaiting completion of a home improvement project, do not wait to check your order, as we may not be able to assist you at that time.

* If you decide not to allow BuyVanitiesOnline to repair or replace your item within 14 days of delivery, the item may be returned under our standard return policy, which includes round trip shipping and handling. BuyVanitiesOnline reserves the right to repair or replace your vanity should an item arrive damaged.

* Should parts be missing or require replacement, they may require ordering from the manufacturer. Since many of our manufacturers are located overseas, replacement parts and pieces normally take between 4-6 weeks. Please note that due to our wide selection of bathroom furniture, it is impossible to keep all parts and items in stock all the time. Should a part or item require replacement, we will make all efforts to expedite the process to the best of our ability; however, many parts must be ordered and take time to arrive.

* BuyVanitiesOnline holds no responsibility for damage to the home by the home delivery company. It is your responsibility to file a claim with the freight company.
